- - the feeling one experiences when in a magnificent cathedral or when viewing a beautiful sunset in the mountains and one feels that there is something much greater present.
- The Numinous
- - very similar to awe. Coined by Rudolf Otto in his book "The Idea of the Holy". The feeling that one is in the Divine presence.
- Conversion Experience
- - when a person's life is changed as a result of believing God.
- Mystical Experience
- - spiritual experiences such as visions, revelations and trances, where a person believes that he/she has been in direct contact with God or the spiritual world.

- - something happens which seems to break the laws of science or probability. One is left with the feeling that only God could have done it.

- - believe in the existence of a personal God.

- - this is suffering that results from actions of humans.

- - the belief that God is all good and wants only good.

- - the belief that God is all-powerful. He is the Almighty and can do anything.
- Omniscient
- - the belief that God knows all things.
- Omnipresent
- - the belief that God is everywhere at the same time.
