The EDEXCEL GCSE full course for Religious Education consists of two parts. The first part, Religion and Life, is the half course, which every pupil at FitzWimarc is entered for. However, you can upgrade to the FULL course by taking an examination in the other half course, which is called Religion and Society

Last year two pupils took the full course and gained A* and A grades respectively, but it did involve lunchtime and after-school tuition. This year, we are in the position to offer tuition for the "Religion and Society" part of the course by DISTANCE LEARNING, via this website. In other words, you can progress through the course by using text books and other materials at home, guided by the tuition and completing the tasks scheduled on the appropriate web pages. You will also be able to seek advice, ask questions and so on, by e-mail.

It is possible that we shall be able to offer an optional, after-school workshop once a term for those who are interested, to consolidate what has been done.
