![]() Liverpool Cathedral (Anglican)Liverpool cathedral is the largest Anglican cathedral in the world. Designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, the cathedral was started in 1904 but was not finally completed until 1978. It is 204 metres in length and the tower is 100 metres high. The style, I suppose, is 20th century Gothic The cathedral stands on a hill facing the very modern building of the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Christ the King, which is set on an adjacent hill. |
