![]() Norwich Cathedral
This is the cathedral of the Holy and Undivided Trinity. The cathedral was built at the beginning of the twelfth century and much of the building is essentially Norman in architectural style, with a focus of attention inside being the apse. Later, Gothic vaulting was added in the second part of the 15th century. Large windows in the Perpendicular style bring much needed light into the building. The spire on top of the Norman tower, was reconstructed in the 15th century and is the second tallest in England. Why not visit the cathedral's website? |
