Wendens Ambo is in North West Essex, not far from Saffron Walden. The pictures include items which we study in year 7 such as the font, the lectern, the pulpit, the altar, the rood screen, the nave and the chancel. The Western door, with its curved and recessed arch is probably an example of Norman architecture.
