FitzWimarc school was privileged to enjoy a series of assemblies in March 2004, arranged by GJ with Rayleigh Baptist Church and Bar 'n' Bus.

Collective is a three-girl singing group - the girls coming from Wales, Ireland and Liverpool. During the week they sang, shared their Christian experience and got whole assemblies to join in a sort of "we-will-rock-you" style of participation.

Mark, the Youth Leader from the Baptist Church then summed up: a religious faith is not something drear but is exciting and full of life.

Finally, on Friday26 March, after school, they hosted some fun activities in the main hall for the school's Christian club, which is called 'Fusion'.
