Our visits to Holy Trinity this year again proved very useful. Having worked in lessons since September on symbols and the features of a local, medieval parish church,
it was so important to visit the local parish church to see, admire and even touch the various items. Our exploration of the church requires pupils to think in order to work out answers to the
questions in their workguides. As usual, Rev David Parish and his team made us very welcome - 9 separate class visits overall. On one occasion we were greeted and helped by the cheerful band of people
working hard at cleaning and polishing. I thought that, being under their feet, we would be an irritation, but instead various members took the opportunity to share their knowledge of the building and
its content with us.
