Frequently Asked QuestionsThese are some of the questions which are frequently asked about Religious Education, both in and outside of the classroom. If you have any more (reasonable, please), then e-mail us. |
The Full GCSE course in Religious Education also appears in your Option Choices in Year 9. However, because it is blocked together with other subjects, the choice is tight and, since the half course is compulsory, many settle for that and chose another option. Therefore, to ensure that those who want to complete the full course get the opportunity of doing so, we now offer it as a Distance Learning possibility. To convert your half GCSE to a full GCSE, all you have to do is study for the other half GCSE, thus making a full GCSE. The beauty of a Distance Learning course is that you can do this at home, in your own time and, to a certain extent, at your own pace. The course tasks are available on this website. Work and questions can be submitted by e-mail. If you are in Year 10 (Year 11 pupils would have to work at break-neck speed to complete the course before next June!) visit the Introductory Pages on this site. If you would like to start the course, complete and submit the registration form (name, form and an e-mail address are all that is required) and you will receive a Username and Password so that you can access the Course and start. |
