Kaddish
This is the Jewish prayer of sanctification which forms part of the synagogue service.
Kashrut
As used for the Jewish dietary laws to describe fit or proper food for Jewish people to eat.
Ketubah
The Jewish marriage contract, which is received by the bride from her husband and, which is signed by both.
Ketuvim
"The Writings" - the third section of holy scripture which makes up the Jewish 'Bible', the Tenakh.
Kiddush
A prayer of sanctification (setting aside as holy) said at the beginning of sabbath, with wine.
Kol Nidrei
The prayer which is intoned on the Day of Atonement by Jewish people asking God to forgive them for "all vain vows" - i.e. things which they promised to do but have not.
Kosher (Kasher)
This describes food that is fit or proper for Jewish people to eat. Sometimes the word 'clean' is used.
