Qiblah
This is the direction of prayer for Muslims towards the Ka'aba in Mecca. The Qibla wall is the wall in a mosque which indicates the direction of Mecca.
Quakers
A common name for the Society of Friends. This is a Christian denomination started in the 17th century through the preaching of George Fox. Their meetings, held in a building called a Friends' Meeting House, are characterised by long periods of silent thought and meditation. The silent worship is interrupted only if someone feels moved by the spirit to speak. They have no ministers or elaborate ceremonies. The two Christian sacraments of baptism and Holy Communion are NOT practised by Quakers. Quakers are also well known for their pacifist views.
Qur'an
The Qur'an or Koran, is the holy book of Muslims.
