Wiggy Poems Heading
man in armchair reading Mrs King is retiring soon. Inspiration flooded my whole being to write this little poem to mark the occasion. The general idea was inspired by the local newspapers whose headlines, to refer to any successful event achieved by FitzWimarc, so often include the alliterative "Fizz".

Poems to Visit
Royal Moments title
by G. Jones

Why is there Fizz in FitzWimarc,
As Echo and Standard declare?
And why is there ire in Ireland,
When Mary is here and not there?

There's plenty of rust in old Rustom,
With creaking of elbow and knee;
But whence came the hay in Jean Hayman?
It must be from doing Tai Chi.

And isn't there more in Dave Morley
Than we see and hear every day?
And who's seen the mare in our Mary?
Just ask her and hear her say "Nay!"

Now she took the brief out of briefing,
With her sniggers and snipings galore;
And she took the shake out of Shakespeare,
And hard out of Hardy, and more.

Who is the King of the classroom?
Which learning style does she prefer?
The one that puts less in her lessons,
"Kingaesthetic" is always for her.
