Hockley Road

Passing Holy Trinity Church, one leaves the High Street for the Hockley Road.

At the top of the rise, on the right hand side, you can see the white house called "Ruffles". It is named after the miller, Benjamin Ruffles, who owned the mill that once stood on land adjoining the house over 170 years ago.
